No Goodbyes, Just See You Later!

So Gino is leaving to head to Germany tomorrow and he'll be gone for three months. That's a long time, especially when Second Life is concerned. I told him to put me in his suitecase with some water, skittles and poptarts and I'd be fine, but NOOOO, apparently the stupid airport has these x-ray machiney things where they'd be able to tell I was in there. Whateva!

So I'm stuck here while he has all the fun, what a dork! But you'll be miss Gino. So that's why I wanted to dedicate this post to you. Thank you for being such a good friend to me, for being someone I can talk to and for being someone that makes me laugh on a daily basis even when I feel like crap.

So in the great words of our newest idol, Jane Terri, (/me sings) "I dont wanna lose you tonight! you're the only thing that matters! LMFAO...

Have fun. Be safe. Look both ways when you cross the street. And most importantly, Don't forget your laptop!

One Linden Furniture?!?!? Say Whuuut!

So I know. I haven't posted in a while. I've been yelled at by Gino a million times to post, but didn't have the energy until now so I thought I better do it so that he'd be happy. I love you Gino!

What have we been up to in SL? Not too much. We have been doing the same thing lately and just sitting around chatting. We should definitely start exploring again. We use to do that all the time. I feel like I'm addicted again because I can come on for hours and just hangout by myself and still find something to do. In times like these I wish I had Kelly. She was good company. Always there to listen to me complain and to make me laugh. She was like whoa. So if you know anyone out there that has one like her, please shoot me an IM, I'd be pretty grateful and happy and I'd love you forever and share my skittles with you. So the pick above is of myself and my two loves that help run this blog. Just another ordinary day in the D, trying to occupy our time and have fun. The chair that we're lying on is from PopArt Furniture. If you don't know about PopArt you should. PopArt is a furniture store that has loads of beautiful items all for one linden! Yes, you heard me right, one linden. We found this store a few months back and we bought every single item there was. They even have houses that are one linden, outdoor furniture, everything! So hurry on over there now, they just recently put out some new items, so go get them!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Although honestly to me I wish the hair wasn't attached to the hat. So we had to come up with something else that would give us a bit of flare, which is why Mel and I have on our Tiny Bird hair Gattina. I also decided to wear my Luck Inc. Black Ruffled Mini Skirt instead of the skirt that was provided, which I think turned out great.



Also, you may have noticed that we're a bit obsessed with Baby T since she was our inspiration to start this blog and Lady Gaga ever since she came out with her "Telephone," video. If you're a bit confused I suggest that you read our older posts. That will explain it all.

Have Cadbury Eggs Gotten Smaller? Or have my hands just gotten bigger? - An investigation -

So I have been craving a Cadbury egg since the other night when we were chillin in the D and we started talking about chocolate and I somehow said I wanted a Cadbury Egg. Today while shopping at Giant Market with my aunt, I bought a box of 4. I was a little confused when I get them out of the box later. Why did they look so small? I knew I did not buy the mini ones. I asked my mom if the egg had gotten smaller, or if it was simply my hands have gotten bigger. She was not totally sure but agreed she remembered them as the size of a real large egg.



A google search then happened.
"When first introduced in Britain, the original Cadbury Creme Egg weighed 40 grams (1.4 oz) and contained 171.6 calories.[1] Cadbury Creme Eggs sold in the UK and Canada have remained at this size, but those sold by Hershey's in the United States have decreased in size since their introduction - before 2006 they are listed with a weight of 39 grams,[2] while today they are listed at 34 grams. During an interview on the April 4th, 2007 episode of Late Night with Conan O' Brien, actor B. J. It was a very cold night in the D.

Making the American ones smaller than the ones in the UK? Yet Americans are supposedly the Fat ones who super size everything? WTF.

Since the UK was mentioned I must say something about "Skins" Series 4 episode 7.

I loved skins. I have seen every episode since Series 1 Episode 1 and I have remained such a loyal viewer. The first two series were brilliant! - of course the loose end of Cassie and Sid was never tied together. Series two ended with Effy laying in Tony's bed breaking the 4th wall and smiling and looking at the camera...it was a pretty cool ending and appropriate as in Series three she is the only character to return.

The other night the show went from brilliant to disturbing. The show is of course no stranger to death...but they again killed off a main character before the last episode...and they literally killed him off - he was brutally beaten with a baseball bat, which they don't show...all you hear is the struggle and see his blood get spattered on a window. WHY SKINS? WHY? DO YOU LIKE DEPRESSING YOUR VIEWERS!? I won't fully understand why this happened until the Series Finale this Thursday (10:00pm UK Time on e4) If you want to find it state side you can usually find it on youtube or elsewhere on the web. (If you are going to get into Skins you need to watch it from Series 1 Episode 1 and on, or you are missing crucial things...especially how superior the first generation was)

I also poured some Sprite for those lost on Skins, including Chris from series 1/2.

It got so cold in the D that I put on a coat.

The Following song was in the above mentioned episode when Effy and Cook are dancing at some party on a roof top, love the song(although it is nothing like the music we listen to in the D), it is totally different than anything I have ever heard and I am rocking out to it at the moment:




Lastly, we have been getting a lot of e-mails stating that people think QuitaAnita is really T-baby, and she is just using this blog to promote herself. Quita assures everyong this is 100% Not true.....or is it? I'm not sure what to make of the following photos submitted by an anonymous source.

Saturday Ghetto Finds

So far this blog thing is coming along. And I'm loving sharing this experience with two of my closes friends in SL. Today I bring you my Saturday Ghetto Finds. I went to a couple of "GHETTO" sims and this is what I found.


I went back to Ghetto Gangster in the Summer Palace Region to see if I could find something new. To my suprise I found a bunch of hooligans tearing it up on the basketball courts battling each other. I sat for a bit to watch then started taking pictures. I thought it was hilarious to see them taking turns battling like you would see in "the streets." From there I went on and found the guy under the red car. Poor dude. I mean, this is straight ghetto. What makes this sim even funnier is that they even have people screaming, ambulance and police sirens and gun shots going on in the background.


The next place on my list was Urban Ghetto in the Busiris Region. Even though it's still under construction I saw tons that made me think of being in the "Ghetto." They had everything from moving cars, taxi, subways to little deli's and pizza places stands like Angelo's on the street like you would see in the New York or Jersey. I absolultey love it! I also ran into yet another dead body. At least this time they did something about it and put the yellow tape around it. I didn't see any shops there, but this is an awesome place to take pictures and to just hangout.



The last place I stopped today was !Urban Mega Store in the France3d Saint Barth Region. They have a ton of items there from shoes to clothes to tattoos and piercings. The one thing that was like wow for me was this Tupac Mural. It reminded me of Los Angeles. (sighs, I miss Cali) So I wanted to share this with you. That's it for now peoples.

This Just In!!! Lady GaGa stole Quitas hair?!

So as you all know the new Lady GaGa video "Telephone" featuring Beyonce came out on March 11, 2010 its 9 minutes nd 28 seconds long and is entertaing from start to finish!! but as we all know GaGa like to always dress up in her videos and Gino nd I noted in one of the scenes she has soda cans in her hair as rollers and back in December Quita had soda cans in her hair as rollers way before this video so I personaly think GaGa plays sl in the D with us hmmmmm questionable!! But go watch the new "Telephone" video its awsome!!

So while living in the D you always have to be extra cautious! You never know who might start a fight. So what do we do? You have ur extra special move!!! like mine is the "I'll Jet Lee kick yo a** so fast you wouldnt even know it!!" move Quita does the "Shank" nd Gino has an extra special move "Swaying side to side all stiff while screaming "ITS SOOO COOLLLD IN THE D!!"
Well thos r our special moves and trust me they work other avis ran away sooo fast they had no idea what happend. So always be be cautious nd tell us what ur special move is!!!

Oh yes! Finally it's here, my favorite day of the week since I can remember, but don't ask me why because that I don't remember. Maybe it has something to do with like the last school or work day, I don't know.

So this morning I got really bored and wanted to find areas that were "Ghetto" inworld so I typed Ghetto in search and found Ghetto Gangsta in the Summer Palace region. Like literally they had ghetto down packed. There was dead bodies in the street, cars on fire, blood splattered everywhere. I made sure to like watch my back though in case anyone tried to run up on me so I found a safe place for me to sit and decided to take a couple pictures. If you get a chance go there, take a look around. They do have tons of shops that have some pretty nice stuff.

Okay. I'm tired, hungover and functioning on three hours of sleep, but I can't blame anyone but myself and that delicious bottle of wine that I couldn't stop drinking. Damn it was good. I think I'm gonna go back to sleep for a few hours. Have a great weekend and see you inworld.

Sometimes Second Life can be kind of a depressing place.

But whenever I am down, I just watch "It's so cold in the D" and I am instantly smiling. I know the song is a tribute to a dead friend of T-Baby's...but it is just so poorly done, that I can not help but giggle, heck even her dancers are standing behind her laughing through the video.

The first D community was founded in Sunnyville on Rockstarroo GossipGirl's land. Then 3 sub sections of the D were founded. Behind Rockstarroo's land was "The Backyard of the D" which was Gino Russo's land, and then we had "The Side to the D" and "The OTHER side to the D" which were owned by Melissa Falodir and QuitaAnita GossipGirl.

Our "D Community" lasted a good month or so, but then Melissa had to move...and then Quita gave up her land...and then Gino did too...and Rockstarroo poured some sprite in honor of those lost, and renamed her land.

So the D Community is gone, but still exists as a group of friends who will always be "D" at heart. We even have a group gesture which Gino Russo made!(ask him for it, it's free).

Every once in a while we get together and dress in our traditional "D" garb. It involves some type of orange hair weave with black roots, jeans, an orange shirt, and big red Ronald McDonald sneakers. The black skin is optional, but if you want that "authentic" T-Baby look, you really need it.
